This release contains the source code for ASP.NET MVC 2 RTM as well as the ASP.NET MVC Futures project. The futures project contains features that the ASP.NET MVC team is considering for a future release of ASP.NET MVC.
Please note that the ASP.NET 4 Futures assembly requires .NET 4 RTM, and will not work with any builds of .NET 4 or VS 2010 prior to RTM.

Some nice ideas in MVC Futures... some way to go though... See my review:

I would like to see the ID generated for extensions have formId to resolve issues of multiple forms on same page. The client side validators won't work for multiple forms at the moment, and it's a pain. This is happening cause there are multiple validation controls with same id on a page, and there is no way i can alter an id if the model name is same for all of them.

This release is Excellent, But authentication/authorization model is not good, it should be improved and flexible, to support any kind of sitemaps/menus, And there should be inbuilt support for site menu/navigation and sitemap. This is the most complex part which ruins our MVC architecture.

There are problems with the ID generation. The TagBuilder generates without some characters and TemplateInfo doesn't remove invalid characters.

Is there a way you will ever post proper documentation on how to use Dynamic Data at all?

My God! It's really a nightmare trying to find in whoever's blogs you might find on the web looking for answers instead of the people who build this thing!!!!!
